David Ownby

David Ownby is an Associate at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology in Halle, Germany. He recently retired from the Université de Montréal, where he was a history professor for three decades. Since 2018 he has translated the writings of Chinese intellectuals essays on his website Reading the China Dream.
